Dr. Michael Zhang is the founder and CEO of Innovac Therapeutics. He has close to 15 years of experience in company formation, venture investment as well as management consulting in healthcare industry. Prior to founding Innovac, he was Venture Partner of Creacion Ventures, a venture capital dedicated in biopharmaceutical company formation in US and China and help building up several leading companies including Frontera Therapeutics, Pediatric Therapeutics, etc. from scratch. Prior to Creacion Ventures, he was Managing Director with CoStone Capital, a China leading Private Equity fund, leading its healthcare investment. Before CoStone, he was Investment director/Investment manager of Lilly Asia Ventures (LAV), a China leading healthcare venture capital and led/contributed in multiple successful investments inl. Cansino(6185.HK), MicroTech((2235.HK), 3SBio(1530. HK), ClinChoice, PINS Medical, Percutech etc. Prior to LAV, he was a management consultant with L.E.K Consulting.
Dr. Zhang received his M.D. degree from Fudan University Medical College and conducted his residency training in Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University and holds PRC medical practice license.
